Has anyone got a nzxt lexa classic (case) and water cooling as id love to go down that route as ocuk have got a kit id love to buy and install as my friend gives it very high marks.

i wouldn't personally buy an NZXT lexa case at all, what other cases has your friend had? has he had experience with some of the better case manufacturers out there?

if you're looking to do water cooling and it's a first time may i suggest a thermaltake LCS case? the come with all the bits necessary including coolant to make a 120.2 or 120.3 CPU loop, all you would need to do is buy a GPU cooler and you'd be set. additionally it's all internal, and you wont ned to do any modding.

if however you are keen to do modding then the lian li series is a very popular series for water cooling, there are many fine examples on this site, including raikiris v1200+ in black with a custom side panel window.

if you have any other questions feel free to fire away

is there any reason why u wouldn't recommend the NZXT case??

Just on the NZXT forums u hear about their customer support being very gd and quality of the case being pretty gd.

Just wondered why u didnt like them?? just because they looked pretty kool

this is all imo, so don't get mad or anything:

point one: they are ugly
point two: thin aluminium (vibrates well)
point three: cheap plasitc bezel
point four: they are badly put together from reviews/video reviews i have seen (and a 'friend' has one)
point five: you would hear about the case being good on their own forums
point six: drive rails suc as those used on the lexa are noisy (i have used similar)
point seven: painted (so will chip/scratch off easily)
point eight: they are bad for cable management

ythats about it really, if i was forced to by an NZXT case it would be an adamas or a hush (abd only if i were forced)

but each to their own

another reason i wouldn't recommend it for water cooling is that it seems VERY cramped, and although i've seen water cooling kits in smaller it really is a feat of difficulty
