O/C Much room for any more?

Hi

I have a AMD x2 3800 (currently o/c by 250mhz) my full load temps are at 38-40 degree's can I clock any more?

Yer i would stop when it hits 50C on load. So you have some room left.

I still go by old rule of thumb 55C, not sure on current CPU's but my old Thundetbird ran at 70C normally but it did have ceramic casing.

Plenty of room yet. Stop when one of these three things happens:

1: The chip becomes unstable, regardless of voltage through it (CPU limit)
2: Temperature exceeds 50-60C (Personally I don't like to exceed 55, others go higher, some lower)
3: The voltage required exceeds 1.6v (Personally I don't like exceeding 1.55v)

Right I upped my FSB to 235 making 235 x 10 = 2350 Mhz, Also setup my RAM SPD at 533 (using 667RAM which in effect makes my RAM running at 626 which is still below Rated 667 SPD)

Orthos, threw up an error after abour 1min, do I need to increase my voltage to make it more stable. Temps are still not an issue atm
