overclocking the asrock mobo

hi

just downloaded and updated my bios to 1.6, and now would like to o/clokcm it a bit but even after reading the guides, i am a wee bit confused about what settings it is as a lot seem to have changed in the bios.

i have a :

A64 3000 venice core

1 gig (2*512 mg of geil value ram)

asrock dual sata2 mobo with 1.6 bios

any quick guides, i have a 9800pro g/card to, so will i need to adjust that to to push it along a bit. has an arctic cooler fitted.

did try to o/c it all before but didn't seem to do anything

update:

i increased my fsb but it will not save nor show a overclock on cpuz. i set the multiplyer at 11*2200 but says it is still 1788 mhz in cpuz.

i dont think i can do it or is my chip locked??

i dont suppose there is a 'cool & quiet' option in the bios?

Basically this clocks the cpu down when idling to save power, try turning that off and make sure you save and exit bios before u leave :)
