Hi

We currently have 21" Sony CRT's used for graphic design and after refurbishment of our shop we would like to switch to LCD, probably 3 22"-24" monitors.

Main concern is colour accuracy so can anyone recommend monitors which perform well for graphic designers? We don't do hardcore colour matching but would like something decent which doesn't show cyan as a blinding turquoise ;\

Budget: £250 inc vat MAX.
But please feel free to recommend other monitors up to £300 if it must be!

Nothing in your budget range will be any good after being on decent CRT's, sorry. You are completely in TN territory with the poor viewing angles that entails.

Colours should appear fine (even though it's using hacks like FRC to coax 16.2 million out of the panel), so get a cheaper panel (from a decent manufacturer - stear clear of the Hanns G's of this world) and use the leftover cash on an Eye One Display to ensure you get the best you possibly can out of your purchases.
