Small update. Started my new office now, just waiting on Shelves before I can piece it all together and My 13900 KS has arrived. Just waiting on the Direct Die block now.

Definite improvement.
I don't know much about most of those stats...but I recognise a 6GHz clock when I see one! Very nice :D I've got a couple of workloads that would like that sort of clock speed. Depressingly, one of them is a Minecraft server (I've got a kid with a megalomania issue ;) ) and that seems to only use 1 thread so GHz is king and the fact there are another 15 cores all offering 2GHz is of no benefit

The 6ghz is just the volts needed to run it at that. The 13900KS boosts to 6GHZ, but hoping to set an all core 6ghz when its direct died. Without DD it can do 5.8 at the moment all core

Looking forward to more updates :)
My Supercool Direct Die for the 13900KS looks like it got lost in the post leaving Thailand! had to order another. This has been a difficult journey getting all the parts! My 13900KS now is delidded so can't use it until I have a direct die so I have no choice but to wait now.

hope youve got a 3 point harness for these seats! you might take off wihen all them fans kick in;-)

 the idea is they never need to go over a certain rpm so its silent. My last setup as soon as any cpu or gpu load was introduced the ambient water would keep increasing. My water-cooled ram would sit happily in the 20Cs on idle but ramp up over 48C playing games which made them unstable. Im hoping having this external rad with 18 fans will keep the water temp as close to ambient as possible while remaining silent.
The latest craze right now is using a water chiller, but ill leave that for a future project when electricity costs go down

As if matters can't get any worse. Sent my CPU off on Monday to be delidded as I felt there was no point buying the tool and risking it myself. Was quickly delidded and sent back to me on Wednesday via Special Delivery 1pm. It's now Friday and is still showing as at the distribution centre! Really hope its not lost!

Not fun. If it's Royal Fail Special Delivery (aren't they all special?!) then you're due delay compensation already as it's more than one working day after it was due. You might get "substantial delay" compensation after 7 days. If they've lost it you might only get £500 compensation unless the poster increased that as an option. Hopefully they're just inept and it'll turn up. Worrying though.
nope pretty sure its £500 compensation which will probably take months to get back. I paid £1000 for it. naturally this has never happened before  always receive next day deliveries next day. At this rate I'll get the Supercool block before sorting the actual CPU out now!

I sent a case to a member on here 24h tracked it never moved from my local depot for three days, never had a problem with special delivery, hope it works out mate.
It's showing as having arrived in the Isle of Man now so all looks good. Never had a delayed guaranteed next day before, so panicked a bit  My SupercoolDD has now landed in the UK so that's a good sign I'll have that next week too. There's nothing like a final bit of drama to add to this never ending project

Yes got the same as you have. Your a brave man going that to a cpu :)
To see if its good.

Make sure you Bios is up-to-date, you can either use the official 0813? I think or the test Bios 0902 and also make sure your ME firmware is up to date. The firmware should end with the digits 20 not 91.

On the right hand side in BIOS you will see an SP value which will give you an indication of how good your CPU is. For a KS you really want over SP110

Then in the AI Features setting you will see your P core and E core SP. for P core you want over 120 and E core 90. and a P core voltage of under 1.45

Lower down you will see "Get MC SP" which is your Ram SP value which you need to select so it can calculate. There's speculation about how accurate this is, but id be happy with anything over 80
Leaving AI features and going to V/F Curve. You want to check that the 5800 value is under 1.4. If it's around 1.36-7 you're golden.

I didn't actually do the delidding my self  I paid for it to be done.

Supercool DD block should be here tomorrow. for now, working on speaker and cable wiring before I build the desk to go in front of the shelf which will hide all the wires. gone with a Green and Anthracite theme to match the chair and mouse mat I have bought.
