So I got a phone off ebay since my old one is acting up, it's a very basic phone but that's all I need. The dude also gave me a pay as you go style O2 sim that says I can get either 300txts or 100mins a month, just as long as I top up a tenner a month. Is this for real? I mean, 300txts or 100mins for £10 sounds quite good, is there a catch on this thing?

That sounds like a normal deal on PAYG cards, i have one where each month you get xxx texts and all you have to credit is £10.
Also there is a O2 sim card thread on OCUK at the mo if you wanted to get a new card direct from O2.

Ah, nice, I ended up calling customer care, £1.15 just to get to call someone who thinks my name is Asian, Akif?! What the hell? 
Anyway he told me to txt 20202 to find out how many free txt I have left etc. I really like O2, much better than vodafone on first look, ta guys
