O2 Contract Status on CheckMEND

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is really applicable here but I figured it's probably the best fit.

I'm going to be selling my iPhone which is currently still under contract with O2 but before I can do so I obviously need to pay off the contract. I of course won't be able to sell it on until CheckMEND shows it as not being under contract. Does anyone happen to know how long this process could take?

I'd like to hope it's an automated process so it'd be instant but it probably isn't. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Just to update in case anyone cares. I paid it off last night and ran a report this morning and it shows contract status as clear. Either it updates quickly or the status was clear in the first place anyway.
