O2 publishes traffic management information on products

No it doesn't, simply sign in an look at your plan online. It'll have the old name.

Yeah I had a look. I wonder how long it is until I have to change tho. Really happy with the service at the moment. Can't get higher than 8mb in my area so on the lowest package. £7.50 is very good for unlimited.

Are Be going down the same path?

Doesnt PS3 count as P2P?

My contract has run out, so does this effect me? If so I think I will jump ship and see how the other half live on BE.

good question regarding ps3 , im wondering if hosting a game on xb live or psn with be classed as p2p ?

I'm on O2 Home Premium (middle package) and my contract is up in January.
If anyone else' contract is up for renewal sooner, it would be nice to find out whether existing customers can stay on their current tarriffs.

On Premium, expires in october. It was fun while it lasted... I usually do 300gb a month :s I'm moving out too to uni... to a place with o2 pro.

As long as my current terms carry over it is fine. At least o2 are being up front and clear about their policy, beats UNLIMITED...with fup :)

Don't you start to think there just jumping on the whole hate the file shares bandwagon, yes on one side they could be seen to be dealing with the problem, on the other side this could potentially save them a load of money in network upgrades they should be doing anyway.

Either way makes me regret moving out of my flat in Sheffield even more, I was getting unlimited 20mbit for £7.50 on that O2 staff package thing.

My o2 contract ended a year ago, plus my account is in credit for £60 :D

It was in credit for £120, o2 sent me as a goodwill gift as they really messed up some time ago, so basicly I have free BB for 12 months ;)

Also my credit runs out when FTTC is ready here :D

I think the VPN issue is due to a bug in the latest version of the Thompson router firmware
