I've got several months left on my O2 contract. Depending on how the Galaxy S8 looks, I might want to pay off my O2 contract early, sell my iPhone 6s+ and get the S8. O2 offer a 25% discount on early settlement, as long as you upgrade with them.
Has anyone experienced how this works? I am specifically interested in whether or not they treat you as a retentions case (where you get offered a decent package to stay) or if they treat you as a new customer (where they rip you off so much that you have no choice but to use a reseller).
