O2 Simplicity & iPhone

I'm using my iPhone on Vodafone at the moment but looking to start an o2 simplicity contract very soon to get some data for less than a quid a day! One of the questions on the number port form....

...is 'are you using an iPhone'?

Wondered if anyone knew for what reason they might need to know this for just a number port?

Prolly want to know how many people arnt using the pre-set contract options. Bit of market research.

Yeah I thought that could be it. My instinct is to answer no, just wondered if there was any practical reason, in terms of the service I'll get, that they'd need to know that (visual voicemail, maybe?)
