OCUK Done it again.........

lol are you hoping for a birthday card? on a more serious note prices @ocuk aren't great at the moment, is it the run up to xmas that causes this?

this is surely a thread for the customer service forum?
should be treated exactly the same way as threads where people have problems...

Why? The customer service forum is for people who have problems to be sorted out. If people have good service, and are happy with the customer service from the forum, then they can spread the word...

What you said there doesn't really make sense to me. :p

I am happy for him to have great service from me, it is a nice form of appreciation which makes me want to work that little bit harder to make sure that everyone is happy with the service they are getting from me. It is a thing to be proud of, good service is to boost about, and bad service... Well that is to be in the Customer Service forum to be resolved so it turns to good! :)

when anyone posts a thread about bad customer service it is removed, quickly - gets boring seeing only one side of the coin

Because usually I have to ask personal details to resolve the issue, most people do not like their full address details, or anything else shown on public. I am sure if you look hard enough there are plenty of issues resolved publicly too.

So you do see both sides of the coin.

They are not removed anyway, they are moved to the CS section so the issue can be resolved. Makes more sense resolving the issue, rather than leaving it on the forum unresolved.

Had a very similar case when ordering my computer back in January. I had all the items in the basket ready to press the button to kill my bank account.

The case I had ordered only had about 5ish left in stock at the time of ordering. After putting in my order I revived an email saying the stock system was running abit behind and they had in fact sold that 5 stock before the website had been updated and I was going to have to wait around a week if not longer for a re-stock. With it being my first self-build it's safe to say I was gutted so I contacted support to see what they could do.

They offered for me to pick another case from the Cooler Master range and give it too me at the price they buy it at so as to be as close to the previous budget I had for the build. After finding another windowed case that I like it came to like £10 more but it's safe to say I was more than happy!

Great customer service does wonders for a company and again why I personally get all of my big purchases from Overclockers, and even most of the little ones as the free delivery helps a lot being a poor student :P
