** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

I've put in a request to return mine now. I think I'm being too nice in thinking that using a bit of glue to fix the issues is fine on a £240 chair and having a bit of plastic fail - which it certainly is not.

Really hope they sort out the quality issues with the chairs in the future. May look to a DX Racer or something now unfortunately.

Rjk isn't here I've messaged him to see if he can find time in his busy schedule to check this thread.

Obviously we will treat and deal with all returns as if they were any other product inside their DOA period. I will speak to bailey and see if we can release a replacement as soon as the courier has collected them to minimise your down times. Or you can have a refund if you prefer.

Please use the customer service section of the forum. To raise your RMA's or contact returns on the number listed.

It's too early to pass judgement given the volume we shipped yesterday.

Would be nice if you give some feedback here for us potential buyers, I was a bit worried to start with but the few owners feedback so far has me more worried.

Is this a batch of 2nd's?

Well it's unfortunate that the first ones recieved are forum members. That doesn't help whilst you are all reading the forum.

No they weren't seconds not to our knowledge they are and should be brand new products. We have in the past announced Refurbs and open boxes etc.

I'm sorry i can't give you more but with Rich not being in the office I don't know how much more help I can be.

our stats show from the arrozi that just 2 have been returned with an RMA raised on 1 more. of the hundreds that we have sold it is no surprise we've had a couple below par.

WE have spares so we may be able to replace the plastic or things like that more serious issues will have to be returned.

Would you be able to confirm if you have spares? I've had a reply back from RMA support and they're not aware of having any spares. I'd happily keep mine if the two plastic parts could be replaced otherwise it's a trip back to OcUK!

Manual poor
no cut holes in fabric for screws to go through
screw holes random diameter,
tools not a great fit
stitching frayed.
cloth ripped in corner showing filling.
the mysterious gloves included (only 1 pair), mine were...soiled...
the seat creaked even when everything was tightened.
the fabric within creaked and was only filled in random places.
plastic so pour strength that it is not functional.
the tilt mechanism etc was very aggressive and made huge noise moving.

Returned for a refund.

Chair disintegrated in no time when having to rebox to return.

WE have spares where they are is another issue but the hold up in port was a couple of unknown boxes until we could confirm contents of said boxes the container couldn't be released.

What a kefuffle these turned out to be. Stuck in port, delaying them by 2 weeks was it? and now the quality is in question.

I have no doubt OcUK will look after those with poor chairs, but it still puts me on the fence.

it's frustrating for us too. Ofcourse we will do what we can to resolve this. Until I can see the bigger picture which will be probably in a few days when everyone has opened and installed their chairs. I can't say anything really.

Haha, mine were the same! :D

Ah I see, so likely in the other container. :( I'd hold off but not sure how long it'd take to receive the other containers worth.

I've got my RMA number so will unfortunately have to do some dismantling tonight and drive it over tomorrow to be returned. :(

Those gloves are brilliant. What sort of hell beast were they designed to be used on?

I think it's oil from where parts of the chair have been assembled, but to be honest I have absolutely no idea why they decided to ship them.

Definitely looks like it - it's like a light brownish colour. Reminds me of my car engine oil when I check it.

I can't return it until tomorrow afternoon so will have to wait and see if there's any updates in the morning from OcUK.

The gloves included with my chair have light brown tips with yellow splotches on them, quiet colourful really though they serve no purpose considering their size. I'll be waiting for an update from ocUK before deciding on whether to return the chair though as it stands I think I'll be keeping it, just disappointed that it could be such a brilliant chair if the manufacturer actually cared about quality control. :(

rjk, OcUK another negative review - what is going on here where are you with nothing to say?

I'm on business currently out of the country visiting a customer onsite with limited internet.

As soon as I'm back in the office, I will go through the thread and try and resolve any problems

Just finished putting mine together, what a total PITA, it's taken over an hour and I've invented several new swear words. The quality of bolts was really poor and needed much more force than I was happy to use. Some of the stuck down washers feel off straight away and caused me a bunch of effort with blu-tack and magnets! Things just didn't fit properly at all and the plastic covers are a joke, I don't know what they were designed for but it certainly wasn't this chair.

I've just received my AK Racing Gaming Chair and put it together and must admit for the price the build quality isn't exactly spectacular, the paint on the base is scratched and scuffed, the packaging itself was in perfect condition so not damaged in transit, the plastic is flimsy and doesn't really fit the chair, the stitching doesn't look like it'll be a long lasting job but the overall construction feels sturdy and it's quite comfortable. Just wish it felt more finished considering the price of it. Certainly wouldn't consider buying another though even at half the price.

I can echo these thoughts. Although it is comfortable, having put it together I know how poorly made it is. I can only imagine OCUK sat on one and didn't really take a good look, either that or it's just not the same chair. I'll certainly think twice when pre-ordering OCUK exclusives in the future. Trust -1 :(

edit - forgot to mention the gloves, mine did have enough fingers, the thumbs were folded inside. They were dubiously stained, no way I'm putting them on!

6/10, my advice would be to go for the DX racer.

Phew what a job! Absolute pain trying to get the back piece to fasten to the seat took over an hour! Looks great though hopefully will last for many years and finally a chair that can tuck under the desk!

Also those instructions are useless, English is rubbish as are the pictures.
