**OcUK Exclusive** MSI Extreme Overclocking Competition.

How do I get hwbot to validate my claim? This is so much more harder then it should be. First it doesn't work properly with chrome, then I get an invalid verification the second I uploaded it so clearly some error with it and now I have an N/A verification :S.

Can i just take a picture of my motherboard with my name next to it or something or show you my recite for it so I can be entered in?

I believe it's because it's got the "do not rank" box ticked but I made sure I didn't tick that box when I posted it and editing it and unticking it still results in it being ticked.

First HWBOT works just fine with Chrome.

Second your CPU-z verification link will show your motherboard.

Third if your result is not verified it means that it could possibly not be valid. Send me your hwbot link or your screenshot via trust and I will have a look at it. I was HWBOT staff for a couple of years so maybe I can see what is wrong.

Well I tryed persistantly to get it to work with chrome and it refused. I clicked submit and it would bring up a website which was not fully loaded. Sometimes it would just be the blue undercoating with nothing loaded over it and sometimes the form would load where you log in or just submit anomalously but that form was not fully loaded. Clicking the buttons did nothing (all of them) and things like the terms and conditions box was just an empty white box.

I can assure you it most certainly was not working with me. I had to use I.E and even that was decidedly buggy till i changed my default browser to I.E and let it load into the browser directly instead of copying the link over.

My results aren't even being attempted to be validated from what it looks like the first time there was just some error as it instantly said invalid unless there is someone who sits at their pc clicking on them the second they pop up to validate them and the second time apparently just has "n/a" and doesn't even bother trying to be validated one would presume.

I shall have to get back to you on that as I'm not at home at the moment, hopefully when i do get back and try a 3rd time it might actually just work. If not hopefully you shall be able to find out why. Thankyou.

Try again... doh

CPU-Z Validation
HWBOT Submission

Resubmitted as of 29th April - and I think to be honest I'm admitting defeat as i'm not gonna knock 15sec off any time soon lol

lol, if you check only one submission on here so far has a green 'Valid' against there HWBOT entry.

I've tried contacting hwbot via their forums but got no answer. I can only guess it doesn't matter as the verification in this instance is the screenshot.. maybe..

Well to be honest, unless you have the winning shot i don't see why it should matter. I will upload mine later, the most important bit is the cpu-z i'd imagine as that proves you have an msi board.

Yeah very true... Given the seasoned clocker is going to take the win in something like this I'm kinda in it for giving something a go and chance at the draw :p

I do find it concerning how most of the entries to this competition are by people with hardly any posts. It's as if they might all be the same few people. I wouldn't be surprised if they was the case on the other MSI competition either.

lol, conspiracy theory...

Looking at the amount of posts people who have submitted entries have, alone with there registration dates i'm pretty sure there isn't a group trying to take over. Think theres only two people who submitted who have less than 50 posts - and one of those is me. Not going to chat on about it though, I've just thought they might not want this thread full of chat given it is comp thread.

Your HWBOT verification says n/a as well. Whats with that? Does that not matter? I've never been interested in benchmarking so never used these before.

Really not sure what you mean about verification being n/a

The result has been deemed good or it would not have any points allocated. What more are you all expecting? :)

If I am missing something please point it out to me. ;)

On the second page it has a "verification url" I thought that is what ocuk wanted and I was struggling trying to get one. Apparently I don't need one so all is good.

This is what we're been going on about :)

As highlighted with the red square.. One is my submission, the other is one from this comp which is validated.

That is only there if you have submitted your result to the WPRIME site. Sorry I was really lost as to what more you guys felt was needed. In the old days when you ran the benchmark you would submit automatically from the benchmark itself. No filling out the form on HWBOT like now. You needed to be connected to the internet when you did the bench too. And when you submitted the result would go to WPRIME web site and once verified would automatically be updated on your HWBOT account.

That really takes me back some years.

I did wonder as when i clicked the Submit button within wprime it did open up IE pages for both wprime and hwbot's websites but i couldn't for the life of me find a way to register on wprime's website.

Does that system no longer exist then?? Thing that sparked my intrested and confusion was SPG's result was recently submitted...

Bottom line tho, as long as my name goes in the hat i'm a happy bunny :)

Oh yes WPRIME is going strong. If you select submit and are currently logged into HWBOT then your data is filled in for you and you get a valid url. BUT you still have to submit with a screen shot. The thing is most people who bench seriously do not and would not ever bench with a internet connection. So that way of submitting fell away.

If you submit using the application and are logged in to HWBOT then you get a valid sign.
