**OcUK Exclusive** MSI Extreme Overclocking Competition.

Oh yes WPRIME is going strong. If you select submit and are currently logged into HWBOT then your data is filled in for you and you get a valid url. BUT you still have to submit with a screen shot. The thing is most people who bench seriously do not and would not ever bench with a internet connection. So that way of submitting fell away.

If you submit using the application and are logged in to HWBOT then you get a valid sign.

Ah I see, no worries. Might want to mention the chrome problems btw as well if you have any close ties with them still as i truly could not get it to work with chrome. Might have been some extension i have running in the background though muffing it up, can't think what though.

God knows where i went wrong - Never mind tho if the comp will accept how it is now i'm happy lol...

Shame HiVizMan jumped in else i may have stood a chance :p

I think there is a problem with the HWBOT server at the moment. I am having problems too. Not normally like this.

Here's my entry, not gonna win the 580 so figured there's no point even trying. Fingers crossed one of those lovely 560s is soon to be heading my way.

EDIT: Just realised the screenshot is backed down at 1600MHz, if this is a problem then let me know. CPU-Z shows the 4.7GHz that I ran it at.

Well I have tried just about everything to get my CPU above 5.1ghz and no luck. I can get into windows up to 5.4ghz and browse files and internet but that is about it, anything else and I get blue screen. Done a lot of research about overclocking etc so at least I have learned some good stuff along the way.

think that is one good thing about this comp (apart from prize lineup obviously), for us which haven't really done much overclocking and/or no SB based overclocking its been a good chance to read up and learn a few things...

Am the same as you, stuck at 5.2ghz though. Have tried everything and it goes no further and it's not heat related, never gone over 70c even at 5.2ghz. Have like you learnt so much and have now got a stable running system 24/7 at 4.8ghz which does me just fine. I was never going to beat the 2600k but would have liked to have got closer, it's the 560 I am after anyway so I can get a second 1 and SLi them :) fingers crossed lol
