The bad news is I asked OCZ for an ETA as when will they arrive with me, the response been they are on the way, it appears they will be arriving today if were lucky but most likely Monday.

Gibbo, was there any indication of when you will be getting stock after this shipment - Assuming that if I was to order now, my drive would not ship on Monday?

Were at the top of OCZ queue for UK custom, so the moment they have more UK allocation they will ship to us, in order to avoid dissapointment I'd be saying middle of April until we see more, could be sooner but better to under promise than over promise.

I see OcUK getting a lot of the UK stock, but £20 more expensive than competitors shows your definitely trying to take advantage of your UK stock control. You would have thought if you got 90% of UK stock that you could undercut your competitors, but I suppose you prefer to go for the bigger profit margins by instead bumping the prices up higher....

I seem to be buying less and less from OCuK recently, mainly down to price.

The pre-order prices were £20 less originally, so most of us paid the original price.

Defiantly want to see a ~60Gb drive, but at these speeds the 120gb is tempting! just have to wait for more stock I suppose

Personally i want something around 80GB but Gibbo said it's not going to happen with these drives. Will have to save more!

Basically sub 100GB is for cheaper slower drives, helps keep prices realistic for smaller drives.

Over 100GB is where quicker drives shall be.

Though Crucial and Corsair have Marvell based 64GB SATA 6 drives, but these Vertex 3 simply destroy everything, they are the cream of SSD performance.

Exactly. I want a 240gb and it makes me sad that OCUK have these in stock but are charging so much now. I can't afford to spend an extra £50 to have a it week or two earlier on such an expensive piece of kit.

If they dropped the price back to what it was last week, or even lower preferably, OCUK would have my money already.

I guess it's all about supply and demand though. I've already sold my existing SSD and am now back to my old 74GB Raptor, I guess I'll just wait for more stock to come in and then evaluate my options.

what happening with the stock then? I have noticed there are 240gb ones in but the 120gb states are still overdue? i ordered a 120gb on 22nd march so will it be arriving soon?

Looks like the 240GB ones have arrived, but the 120GB ones have not yet. Seems OCZ sent them in seperate bundles.
