Bought one of these cards last week
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=gx-114-ok&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1341
branded a gainward for some reason with improved clock & memory speeds
anyway standard fan cycle is 40% at idle in 2d and with the gainward flash it reduces it to 30% at idle and doesn't kick in properly until over 70c
the new bios switches to 2d as well so i went about modding that bios to lower fan cycle and improve the fan stages
at idle fan speed is 20% and card should idle around 42 - 50c
more improved dynamic fan stages mean it is near enough quiet until 67c and should max out around 70c thus the card should never in theory go past that temp
i have not touched the clock speeds however the core can be clocked up to 700mhz and the memory to 1150 and that is stable - do not increase the voltage as it will not do anything
anyway here is the modded bios

this will most likely invalidate the 90 day warranty I am not responsible for any **** ups
you need to boot into dos to use nvflash
