Taken by one of the guys here who's a lot better with a camera than me (Tom, I think) at a meet.

Have had it just over 18 months now. Fancy going a little more extreme, though - been pricing up the cost to change to a VX220 Turbo recently seeing as I'm 25 this year and fancy something a bit sharper and have always wanted something from the Elise/Exige/VX family. Ideally would be an Exige, but funds won't stretch that far yet.

Erk! But not the worst I've seen. There's a guy on MX5 Nutz called Gareth who does them DIY and very well. Might be worth checking here's near you if you need them doing cheap.

Thankfully I think mines OK. It'll be going to get a respray in 2 months although I'm not sure if I want to keep it silver. The Silverstone colour is a bit dull, I want something with a bit more lustre so might see if another silver would look nicer. Could go for a full colour change, but I know I'd get it done in some pastel pink & white combo or something as that's just the way I roll. Way too tempting but the cost doesn't match my plans really. Oh the pain, a decision I don't want to make!

Im gutted lol :(
Shes been off the road for nearly 5 months, changed out the silly 17" that were on it for some 15", minor service done, then find out the cat is rattling, take it for a free emissions test, its buggered :( spent £160 on a new one today, get the car up, the cat bolts wont budge an inch and its a nightmare trying to get leverage under there, need to borrow an impact gun :p
Then see some rust at the bottom of the sils, on closer look some bubbling on the outside paint, and thats the result of some screwdriver and pliers work, looks like some bodgy filler has been done before too so looks like I bought a duff in the first place :(
Need to strip it back and see what exactly needs replacing, cant get planty of parts close but bodywork and welding is something I have never done so will see if I can get it done without having my pants pulled down! Thanks for the info Dup will take a look there :)

Well i think the sills cost the previous owner of mine paid £190 for them to be cut out replaced and then primed. He did the painting himself....and it kind of shows :p
