***OcUK Mega Mat XL Elite Tactical Gaming Surface overview***

Just bought the XXL, at £9.98 couldn't resist!

Shall wait for it to arrive. Just had to measure my desk to make sure it'll fit! There's a millimetre spare depth-wise!

I have the medium version, its so soft!
I would get the large one to cover my entire desk, but my monitors would be on top of it and I don't want to ruin the fabric by putting dents in like I did my boogie bug.

Might just get another medium and put it along side, will look a tad odd, but least it will be just enough room for my keyboard + mouse.

I found the edges to be quite sharp where the plastic had bobbled by being cut with what looks like a hot knife. Ended up cutting the whole front edge off with a scalpel and it's fine now.

I got the last two boogie bug's out of OC as well, and they look identical (with the exception of the bobbling). Same manufacturer? I couldn't find a boogie bug anywhere, wondering if they've gone out of business, which would make me sad.

Its a great mouse mat but I recently decided to give it a good wash due to the dust and stains that mounts up on this thing tried warm water and bit of soap....did not do much and left water stains and dull patches everywhere !

Tried washing power and warm water again and no good made it worse. Tried steam ironing and no joy.

I think using water or soap/detergents is a big no no for the Ocuk mouse mat it just ends up in water patches and it makes it look inconsistent also that lovely black shine it once had its gone.

I found the edges rolled up too easily even after few months use too.

I am trying boiling hot water and leaving it soaked in the bath tub as a final shot!

I have a couple of these I rotate when one needs cleaning, I've always just put them in the washing machine on a low heat/gentle wash and they seem to come out fine.
