OP updated with Whitelist policy, new commands and a new rule has been added.

This rule has been added as myself and other admins have noticed there is an increasing amount of homophobic/racist and sexist comments. It may well be harmless fun but it may not be to the person it's directed at or other players on the server. It stops now, this a friendly community server and while banter is allowed homophobic/sexist or racist banter is taking it a bit too far.

As you were one of the main culprits (and yes it is evident in the server logs) I'm not overly surprised you're objecting to this.
Banter and general chit-chat is fine (hell, look at the way everyone abuses Fur). I have no problem with people having a bit of back and forth. However racism/sexism and homophobic comments overstep the mark. We have a range of ages/gender etc on the server and some of the stuff that has cropped up in the chat is well overboard.
Some players let their children have a look round the server and there is just no need for some of the stuff that gets said. We're not prohibiting people having a good time but there is a line and that line has now been marked and anyone who crosses it will be punished in line with the rules.
I take it you don't play any online games then which censor swear words either?

Instead of the old server ip/port just put linktart.co.uk

When the whitelist increases the watched list has to be manually increased, at least it did on hey0.
Is it possible to turn the auto-approval off? And just go back to adding manualy? Not sure if that's more work for you though. Is windle still around to help? Feels like it's just you left FT

I'm still around but unfortunately not able to help much as I'm away on business pretty much constantly and until work give me a laptop capable of doing anything apart from reading emails on I'm kind of stuck. I even have to use my own 3G dongle, which in most of the places im in is extremely frustratingly slow.
As FT has stated, you weren't actually banned as you chose to stop playing. If you can adhere to the server rules, which aren't unreasonable then feel free to hop back on.
blinkvirus and booshfan, the rules are clear. Griefing is a permanent ban, you broke this rule hence you are banned. It is each player's responsibility to follow the rules, and the admins/mods are there to enforce them. "I didn't know" isn't a valid excuse.
