OcUK Motors Awards - Members Car of the Year 2010

Right then, my nominee for 'shed of the year'

As bought in 2004 for £250, well a couple of hours after it was bought and i'd started pulling the (knackered) gearbox out...

Including buying it, getting it roadworthhy/mot'ing it and 6 months tax (and a full leather interior from the scrappy when i got another box) i think it cost me just under £500 to get it on the road.

And taken the other day...

Since i bought it, its had another gearbox, and this years mot required a pair of balljoints, secondhand strut top mounts, a secondhand backbox (mine fell off, just as i drove into the yard at work much to everyones amusement!) and i splashed out on a new genuine Renault tankstrap. Cost per week over the years, pence i would guess...although its a lot more pink now than the photo makes it look!.
:)

To be fair, I think that new **** heap of a Rover is quite clearly the biggest shed.
However, that Rover doesn't deserve a prize.
