Personally I would prefer Coedy but whatever people prefer. I will reserve judgement on Penmachno as I have only ridden part of it.

If we are doing two rides (Sat & Sun) then we can do both.

It's a decent enough trail - it has a bit of everything.

Have you done cli-machx? The final descent is easily the best section in Wales. Not including DH tracks of course

It's quite a short loop (15km) and we normally do it on the way home.

Not sure on the trail names, just know it was the red route. Thought it was nearer 20km? Don't get me wrong happy to ride it though as I can't see people wanting to do Coed y brenin both days.

I'd quite like to ride one of the mach trails because i've haven't riden any of them. Coedy is a must we could get two or three trails in a day there if people are up for it.
Whats the head count for people definatley coming?

The Mach 1-3 trails are pure XC riding through fields, gates and more fields. I did the Mach 3 trails 2 years ago and it was gash !!

Agree, I think Coed-y-brenin is the best choice for Saturday. Good trails which should please everyone.

The Swallow Falls (lul) youth hostel seems to have decent facilities and pretty cheap from £15.50 per night, I presume that's for a dorm? Not sure on prices for the other, any ideas which one will be best?

Swallow Falls make most sense for people traveling from North England and Scotland. So that gets my vote.

You sure you can handle swallowfalls again? Do you think they will let us two back in more to the point???? The Yha is much closer to Brennin. But swallows has a pub on site!!! So swallowfalls for my vote.

Who is travelling from where and on what day? I'm coming from the Blackpool area probably Friday afternoon/evening. It'd be good to organise transport.
