My rear tyres are just below 3mm and it is all too fine a balance between lighting them up and getting a good launch, i reckon with a new set of tyres and a better timed 2nd to 3rd change i can get that below 5! Look at how bloomin close to 60 i have to change, another 5mph out of 2nd and id be reet

EDIT wow that puts me 8th?

I tried one of those sort of apps once and it told me that my bog standard Golf could pull off sub 7 seconds, so i'd take it with a pinch of salt :p

i compared it to the times i was getting with Gibbo's vbox a few months ago and this was slightly pessimistic, and this is in line with what others are getting with proper measuring equipment.....i'll verify it with a vbox next time i see Andy though.

I'd love to use a proper V-Box like Gibbo's.

I borrowed an older one from a member here which was great, but was off my times by about 0.5secs?

It said I did 0-60mph in 4.2 and the 1/4 mile in 12.7
Not sure what 0-60s I was doing by my 1/4 mile times were all 12.2 that day.

Anything below 0-100 in 10 seconds Ive always considered a supercar at least in performance. Very impressive :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZF6feugYIo

your videos 0-100-0 and whilst his 0-100 time is only around 2 seconds slower his 0-100-0 is not even close
might be because he didnt try but doubt he would lap anywhere close to a supercar on a track

Have a RaceLogic PB which I love and these are the best times in my Audi B5 RS4

0-60 in 3.64
0-100 in 8.62
50-70 in 1.57
62-124 in 7.42
¼ Mile in 11.90 @ 118.4 mph
187 MPH Top Speed

Most of the times above were recorded during other events so I didn't always get to take a shot of the PB screen but have the raw data should anyone feel the need for absolute proof. Other close times are below and top speed was done at the VMax event in September this year (before anyone wonders!).

Only been to Santa Pod once in the car, the last RWYB of the year which was cold and damp - recorded a time of 12.35 then but just couldn't launch the car on that surface without loosing traction!

I also prefer the 100-200kph figure (62-124mph) as it's used all over the globe as a performance measure due no issues with "launches" and gives some real world in-gear times - I'd love to see a 61-124mph list started here TBH.

Am currently borrowing a Racelogic VBox which is so much fun - Oulton the other week and Silverstone this weekend. Highly recommend ANY of the Racelogic kit, a PB is a must for a true petrol head IMO :)

Thought I'd add my latest time from the Nurburgring from last Thursday. BTG time, recorded on Race Chrono, was 9m09s. Car is a JDM 1.8 mk2 mx5, 145ish bhp on Bilstein b14 coilovers, lightweight wheels, ad08 tyres and yellowstuff pads.
