Think I have my shot, but to get it I ended up looking a bit like this

Also stabbed myself in the eye with the end of my camera strap while quickly bringing my camera up. Tip: don't tie it back so the pointy edge is facing you. It's okay to let it dangle.

Really nice. I think it could only be better if the foliage was slightly less dense on the left and if the wings were in a slightly higher position if that makes sense.

I don't want to be one of those guys but what is the actual rule regarding watermarks?

When I chose the topic, I certainly had Bird-in-flight in mind but the word "bird" is deliberately omitted so that "Mk2-Escort-in-Flight" is not excluded.

But note that I am not a judge. My opinion is worthless :-)

Would you mind resizing it please, to no longer than 1000px on its longest edge.

No problem and done, although the rules state 1000px on the shortest side recommended.

I'm more comfortable with street shots so I'm looking for the right moment to take a picture of a chef tossing some pizza dough. Pancake day is coming up too...
