OcUK Photo Comp - Season Nine : Round Ten - "Yellow" DISCUSSION

Updated mine, will add exif if it isnt embedded, need to tidy up the border. I really need a wider lens than the 18-70 3.4-4.5 im using!!!

There's no need to post all that^^!

Anyway, I have submitted a photograph, it may be changed come this weekend when I have my nieces visit, they love prancing around and being all goofy, plus they have amazing eyes so will suit the yellow towel better then Danbo :p

Well im hoping someone will see what in the code is stripping the exif. I would hazard a guess that I have the wrong CHMOD settings but then im not sure how CHMOD affects exif data!?

I've never known an upload process to strip EXIF data, my host uses CpanelX and it doesn't strip anything. The Exif is removed from your image most likely due to the save process in your Photoshop.

Use File > Save As not Save For Web (which removes Exif).

Nope, The funny thing is i can see the exif on image properties for the pic i have uploaded on my pc, but if i download it and overwrite and view, they are gone. So they must be getting stripped on upload, theres no other explanation ?

Why is it i saw you had replied to the thread and i thought "great, another silly comment" and guess what...i wasnt wrong!

Not really, I was simply stating you are making things hard for yourself. I won't bother replying to one of your posts again seeing as you don't even have a basic level of comprehension.

Question regarding the colour:

If you take a picture of something white or green and adjust the levels to make it look yellow would you class that as "cheating"? Let's assume the object is something which comes in hundreds of colours but you can't find a yellow one..

I'm taking food photography to another level :p

Not decided on the processing yet or even if it's the shot I want to put in but it's something
