Rings on a rose - yes. Rings on a rose with a badly-cut end of a stem and some distracting seed heads - no. The lighting on the rose isn't the best either. Sorry.

The composition is weak and the image overexposed. Post production has been overdone leaving a very surreal image.

The image feels cluttered and is over exposed.

Well I liked it

Hmm thats interesting, looking at the years results, I entered 6 out of 12 and score 317 points, looking at the top ten, if I would've entered all of them and stayed consistant (which I usually do tbh) I probably would have been in the top 10, nice

Thanks for the comments judges, as I'm sure a lot of people found...the run up to Christmas didn't leave much time for photography. Still, I'm shocked I came 14th overall in 2010 considering I've only been dabbling with this for a year now!
