OcUK Photo Comp - Season Ten : Round Two - "Retro" DISCUSSION

Arrggh, where has this month gone, had an image plan to, my sister a brother in law are scooter mad, he's got 2 Lambrettas and a Vespa, they look very retro when they go out ;)

Gutted....

ps, agreed, some good stuff entered.

pps. I have an old camera or 2, but im sure it will just end up looking like a product shot, hmmm

Well got mine in; it was one of the back up ones as I had an idea of doing a big Lego set up as my brother and I have a mahooosive Lego collection spanning four decades; sadly it didn't work out :(

However, I was up in Liverpool over the weekend and though I'd try a Retro style walkign shot try to get a bit of the Beatles era/feeling in. Not sure if its work though. I know it looks slightly OOF but thats just the PP i've done, the original is pin sharp.
 
No harm in giving this photo a try...
The element of retro-ness lies in understanding some Chinese Culture... :/
Oh well, hopefully the technical department will bring up the score, have not missed any competition, not going to miss this one!
 
Managed to get mine in by the skin of my teeth yet again, although nearly a whole half hour to spare! :D

It didn't turn out 100% how I envisaged it, partly to do with me rushing it yet again and trying to make sure I had to enough time for PP, still I'm pretty happy with it.

The TV was an image created by my friend Rob Digweed who is currently hosting an exhibition of his graphic design work in Nottingham. He also designed the can labels and adverts, which are all legible at full resolution. Check out the Flickr full size image if you want to read them. :)

I PS'd in the TV, but the rest is printed and then photographed.
