I was sure he'd already made at least one pass by that point? I didn't race him till after lunch.

I wouldn't have though an Elise weighed that much? It shouldn't need that much more power than the MX5 for 12.8 @ 112
 
You have to remember that it has half the contents of an Ikea catalogue weighing it down and creating massive drag. :p

Dude your forgetting your car is maxed, you have the launch perfected, your giving it everything, hence why we all came over determined to get you in the 12's.

His car has way more potential, it is just beginning life and getting sorted, your much faster this time round compared to last time due to mapping tweaks and driver improvement and now your not going much faster unless you dial in more power or somehow remove more weight as your launches are pretty spot on and your having no wheelspin once moving.

I suspect his car has potential to do 11's, he just needs to perfect it and then learn how to launch it. Something you have perfected. :)

However would I rather take his car or your car, well your car everytime because it is safe and second because I can drive home in it.

You and Kosta have extracted the most from your cars and have launching and burn outs perfected, your only going faster by getting more power or taking a huge dump pre racing. ;)

Myself, TT RS could go 11s I suspect, but were wimps and baby them, I'd not be surprised if that burnt out Elise could run an 11 too.
 
I'll give Lee credit where credit is due and although his approach to the whole build has been a bit ham fisted and not thought out enough. He has actually built a car that's capable if he finally listens and get some tuition

Correct, we all learn from errors, I am sure he won't take the shortcuts he did which caused the fire. Driver tuition is everything on track and then your levels of suicide or not giving a damn. :D
 
I thought better of trolling him. I was going to post the link to my 12.9 and tell him the M140i must be really crap if it's slower than an MX5

he lined up beside it knowing he was going to get thrashed :D and he's now sulking because it's on Youtube making him look like a muppet :rolleyes::rolleyes:
