OCUK RWYB Drag Meet 2 - Saturday March 25th - Santa Pod Raceway

Hmm I think under 13s would be a good achievement then, might be tough though. For comparison a mates Golf GTI mk5 with DSG stage 1 remap was getting about 13.3s.

12s should be a relative walk in the park. I'm looking to just about nudge a 12 @ somewhere close to 110mph in a bloody mx5

Used to enjoy rwyb days. Remember doing 21 runs in one day trying to crack 100mph in my old rover turbo.

Could be tempted but with a DCT I think it might be too easy in a stock car to get the manufacturer published times.

Maybe next time

I too will cry if I don't crack 12s, but two things against me, scared of snapping an axle and I am crap at launching the car on a drag strip. Best terminal so far is 114mph so car has it in it, so I am hoping to crack 115mph terminal and will take what ever quarter mile I get, LOL.

I might end up having to cancel as a mate wants to go to Bristol on saturday which is literally as far away as possible from santapod. Will be able to confirm Friday night at the latest, sorry guys. :(

Why the **** would you want to go to Bristol :D

lol!

He flies in to London tomorrow but wants to go look at this:

I don't think it's a particularly nice colour/spec combo. But I've never been up close to one (only seen one at pistonheads, and two on the road).

I'll still be coming. Having to go collect my new wheels as seller wouldn't have posted them till tomorrow. So I wouldn't have got them for Saturday.

Still coming hoping weather is fine.
