The point of the comparison is not the FPS numbers, purely the myth that they match Nvidia for pricing which is clearly false as shown in average actual price at retailers.
A few weeks ago you said to me that the 6700XT wasn't aimed at the 3070 but the 3060Ti. Remind me, what was the MSRP of those 2 cards again?

What does MSRP matter when the overwhelming majority of cards are sold at retail for above MSRP? HUB have graphs for that too, but no card was at MSRP at Newegg and none are at MSRP at OcuK either for either vendor.

Because the launch pricing matters when it comes to comparisons. Neither side knew what was going to happen in the near future did they? AMD priced a competing card at $80 above Nvidia (admitted that it was to compete directly), that is what matters and where AMD's mindset is now at. Expensive.

The fact that Nvidia can command higher pricing for what the public deem a superior brand (however wrongly) does not come into it.

That was taken from Newegg, so the same would apply to OcuK and the prices from $ to £.
I checked a few of these and the prices are completely off. 3060ti same price as 6700xt, 3070ti £40 cheaper than the 6700xt and the 3080 is £20 cheaper than the 6800XT.

We've had some bad marketing in the past but this is embarrassing from AMD.

I just checked and they are correct. Example, Newegg, cheapest 6700 XT £515, cheapest 3060 TI £580.

Another, cheapest 6800 XT £825 cheapest 3080 £879. That graph is based off Newegg prices, same as the HUB examples.

It's only bad because they made the mistake of trying to capture a 'snapshot' in time. When the market fluctuates it completely negates what they're trying to get across.
Yes, that snapshot in time is right now. What people are actually paying today, in todays climate.

Well then they need to sort out their pricing outside of the US.
