OcUK Ryzen 9 3950X review thread

Jesus. All 24 cores boosting to 4.3! And Running at 3200/3600 for 128/256GB. That's very impressive.

Yes huge improvement over last gen rippers which would achieve around 3.8GHz boost all core and nowhere near as good on RAM.

New Ripper platform is very impressive, can’t wait to test the better binned 3970X when we get some in a couple of weeks.

Yeah had the same issue time and again with my business Barclay card. At one point due to the bank refusals internally, had processed the order on 5 Vega 64 LC!!!! (one at the time).
When cancelled them all to redo through the phone, stock wasn't going to be available for at least 6 weeks.

Hence bought the GTX1080Ti Xtreme from elsewhere with my business card.

Thats the problem with cards I use PayPal linked via current account and never any issues with that spent the best part of two grand lately and not a murmur of complaint about any of it. Of course I have the cleared funds so that helps I guess. Cards on the other hand, whats the point of having a 7000+ credit limit if they won't let me use even a tiny part of it in a single transaction?! Seems to me the only purpose of a CC is to rack up huge amounts of incremental debt and they're perfectly happy to let you do that, just so long as you keep paying the charges of course. Seems little more than a lets-get-you-into-debt-easily-and-milk-you-for-cash device.

Funny enough mine sailed through fine for the £750 but then I try to order £70 of fittings and Halifax says no :D

Most annoying thing is you get the OTP code and enter it but it still declines then asks you by texting the same number as the OTP code if the transaction is ok... Failed system really!
