Second hand Mistubishi FTO - every damn game I use one of these babies.

Why?! They were front wheel drive and came with slightly more bhp than the car could take so they under steered like a boat! (mate used to swear by them till I pointed out he really wanted the GTO which was the rear wheel version or something)

I think the reasonably priced car has to be new too...

Oooo ooo LADS!!! the Suzuki SX4 is in the game, which is the replacement to the original Liana!!! (though its currently 11k) or the Suzuki Swift is in the price range but a little smaller and slightly less like the reasonably priced car theory...

How about gathering a few together and asking one of the mods for a poll?
my suggestions;

Citroën C3 1.6 ‘02
Fiat Punto HGT Abarth ‘00
Ford Ka ‘01
Honda JAZZ 1.4 DSi SE Sport ‘01
Mazda 323F ‘93
MINI ONE ‘02
Opel Corsa Comfort 1.4 ‘01
Peugeot 307 XSi ‘04
Renault Megane 2.0 16V ‘03
Suzuki SWIFT Sport ‘07

I like the idea of the swift, the TG team rate it, it's cheap and small...

Just had a look at the car list:

Focus St170 03' would be good

@derfderfley - My mate has a swift sport, they are quite enjoyable to drive as they are small, cheap and reasonably nippy. That would also be a good choice for star in a reasonably priced car

One thing I'd suggest that could be interesting is if ocuk/someone who had money to spare got a copy of the game and it was posted to members who didn't have the game they had it for say a day an did their lap then they posted it on recorded mail to the next member on the list and so on.

like the teddy thing GD did, obviously you'd have to vet people before hand so you didn't lose the game ( >.<).

But it would certainly be interesting to see how people did with only a few laps to get used to the game/the car/the track just like on top gear :p

I own a Swift Sport in real life and I would say in terms of performance it's far better than anything I would expect to see as a reasonably priced car on top gear. It's got decent acceleration for a car that size (Only slightly slower than your Golf Gti's) and has excellent handling round corners.

Surely the purposes of the reasonably priced car is that it is slow, does 0-60 in a month and handles like a ship?

Lolwut? Its 2 seconds slower to 60, considerably slower than a Golf GTi and infact any hot hatch. But yes I agree its far to good to be on star in a car.

ANYWAY, imo its got to be a korean rot box like top gear uses, are there any daewoo/chevrolet abominations in gt5?
