OCUK X2 4400+ @ 3GHz on AIR anyone?

Anyone bought a Recent OCUK X2 4400+. Bought one recently and have it running at 3Ghz 1.525V on AIR. Totally whoops my old opty 144. Got 2.8 on that at stupid volts with same setup which was good at the time but this X2 is much better.

Anyone else had such luck with this recent batch?

Excellent clock for an X2,I bought one of the single core 4000+ after the price cuts, this also achieves 3ghz very easily and well beyond with a vcore bump.Looks like sckt939 A64 and X2's are going out with some really strong steppings, good purchase mate! :)

I have a DFI rdx200. can get 3Ghz with 300*10 or 273*11. seems to like to 10x multiplier better.

reduced HTT to 4x for 273 and 3x for 300. have rubbish ram so divider is set to 150 and 133 respectively to keep at around 200Mhz

voltage at 1.525 for general use and passes 3dmark06 no problems but have to put it upto 1.55V for some prime95 torture testing. still good for about 20mins with prime95 though at 1.525V.

Is your 4400 a recent buy?

upload a cpu-z screeny rusty :D is that prime stable btw?

I have yet to see many screenies from stable stress tests, and Im one of them. The fact is dual core AMD ststems are inferior for OC compared to Conroe. I will mitigate this by saying I am thouroghly enjojing my X2 4800+ simplly because I can keep my 939 system going until the war really starts to warm up, which in my mind is another 6 months at least. Not withstanding the system overhall costs.

We are going to see another change as DX10 hits prob beginning of next year so I just did the math. With the Conroes having so much legroom, we are going to see a hefty rise in cycles where we can pick up extremes for the price of 6300's so I think i'll wait and go with my lowly X2 AMD until the promised land arrives.

Math = £200 = 1 years= performance=no need for ram/hasf/MB/CPU= OK by me...........or maybe less if the wallet stretches. ;)

Bring it on AMD and MS, so we can scrap it out again, gotta love capitisation.

my 4400x2 is stable until 2.86 at 1.45vcore....been fast enough for me...maybe in the future I'll see what it can do in the 1.5vcore range.

I have one of the newer ones...rated at 89w vs the 110w of the previous cores.

i aggree with you fella i was just asking for a screeny, would like to see some performance runs at 3ghz and a cpu-z verified screeny as i did for my 3700 at 3gig on air! and also just asked if he had stress tested it?

Mang0 Tree: stepping is in sig.

Rest:

Tweaking the settings and doing some priming over the weekend but as I said its good for 20 mins at 1.525v at the mo ie: not stable, gonna pop the voltage up a little and see how long I can get it to run for. Core2 seems to be more stable than core1 as still keeps goin. Might try and see how far I can push that on its own later for some high speed single core op.

At this voltage though even when in full flight in all programs but prime95, X2 is very happy and never crashes. CPU-test on 3dmark seems to be on par with similar processors with no point loss due to frame errors( caused by very unstable overclocked CPU - although I did get this prob with 11x multiplier, hence the use of 10x ).

Here's the verified CPU-Z for now..

.. and the link:

Will let u know how I get on with the prime stability tests.

Russ. ;)

rusty use something like photobucket.com to upload your pics to then copy and paste the generated link as your link wont work as its just the map to your c drive

Any one have stepping info for the ocuk X2 4400+`s ? Looking for the new 89w version. The product code is ADV4400CDBOX, whereas the regular version is ADA4400CDBOX

theres no way he should be putting that many volts through an X2, my 4800 on 1.45V goes up to 62C on a big typhoon

Something isn't right...my 4400x2 is on 1.45 vcore and it never goes about 47c (using Zalman CNPS9500LED, comparable to the big typhoon)

My puter arrives today from being shipped over from the states, and I just ordered a Belinea 19'' Widescreen last night and it's arriving today! Amazing service!

Anyway once everything comes I can take a CPU-Z screeny because I have one of the 89w 4400x2s

lol thts a great clock mine dnt wna go past 2.5ghz wiv out bsod on bootup so i thinks its the board cus my prev 3200+ could go to 2.6ghz

youve got same problem i have with my 4200, benches over 3ghz but core 2 is weaker so will only pass 12 hours of prime @ 2.79ghz :(
p.s. im yet to see mine hit 30c :p
