Why to people feel the need to have a mouse mat big enough to fit they keyboard of with room to spare beyond it? I thought my old everglide titan was silly big lmao.

Just looks clean and nothing slides around, plus it actually makes things a little quieter when rage posting with MX-Greens ;) I like being able to put my phone down on it or other precious tech, nothing to do with mousing, I like an insanely high DPI and to just move it a couple of inches.

Fair enough, so your basicly turning your whole desk surface into a multipurpose mouse surface / nonslip mat. I can understand the benifit to that.
 
It helps keep your other peripherals from moving around and stops other stuff moving too. As well as protecting your desk from scratches.
 
Are these fabric or plastic? Folks have mentioned fraying in this thread which leads me to believe they're fabric. If so, I'll have to pass. If not, I'll have two please :)

It's fabric, a little hybrid as the fabric has some kind of coating like Puretrack, but you have a little more control on these mats.
 
they are a fabric but with a coating on them which makes them track very nicely.

they are very low resistance. similar to a Steel QCK or a Mionix Sargas
 
+1 from me, great quality and accuracy.

They are also very comfortable to have a snooze on if you need a quick nap during work / heavy gaming session - the drool just wipes clean away.
