is it worth paying the extra couple of quid for the slightly tighter timings or would you guys just go for the cheapy stuff?

Pondering which set to get for my i7 upgrade...
"OCZ Special OPS 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8" says 'pre-order' on the list of 1600MHz memory kits, however when you click on it, it says 1 in stock?
Also does anyone know how well the low voltage 1333/1600 platinum kits overclock?

Maybe a daft question - can you pre-order and collect from OcUK?
I work pretty close to OcUK and it seems daft having a parcel shipped with a DPD, even for free...

If you order contains item that are not currently instock (which is exactly the case here) then the order does not ship until everything is available. Even if you used free delivery it doesn't matter, they do not split an order and ship what is available sooner.
Phone them up and see if you can cancel the ram from the order, and then reorder the ram separately. If you do not qualify for free delivery then you might as well just keep the one order and save some money by paying 2 x shipping.
