I forgot that I had a Rally in my jeans pocket. They were then washed in the washing machine.
Having realised the error I dryed the stick out and mounted it on my desktop.
To my amazement it was absolutely fine and worked as normal.
I don't think the expression "Clean your drive" was meant to involve washing powder, I would stick to the tried and tested "Format" option.
