Vertex 2E user here, been very pleased with it... can't see the reason with these "25nm Edition" models? All the blurb is exactly the same...!?

I take it the move to 25nm will reduce power, but is this an issue with SSDs? Are there any other significant improvements?
Loss of a few GB is bearable, but the reduction in rewrites from 3000 to 2000 seems like a serious step backwards.
The only benefit seems to be cheaper costs for the manufacturer, which are NOT passed on to the end user.
Think I'll pass.

It's good to see some reviewers coming out who aren't afraid of upsetting people and putting OCZ in there place.
