i have used intel x25 and now the 510....was thinking of a new drive but cant make my mind up....should i stick with intel for the fact that they are reliable and dont have problems or is the vertex 4 a better option than when the vertex 3 came out with its problems....thanks

I have a couple of Vertex 2s (60GB) a vertex 3 (60GB) an Adata 120GB (520) and an Intel 120GB 520.

I am very wary of touching OCZ SSDs again due to the problems I have had with the Vertex 3 and the lack of resolution provided by OCZ. The Adata SSD runs fine but I will stick to Intel where possible especially as they came down in price recently and so are not that much more than other SSD drives.

I've had a Samsung 60gb, OCZ vertex 120, Crucial c300 64, Crucial M4 120

The vertex was the only one that died on me - so I'm trying to stay away from them.

Well I personally think the Vertex 4 will be faster overall. But it's too early to tell regarding reliability on the OCZ drive.

I'd get the Intel if it was me - it's a very quick drive and you know you're getting the whole package regarding quality as well.
