Odd Question (re: clothes)

At the moment I keep my clothes for years until they develop tears and have to be thrown away, one of the joys of having two small kids :p

I really don't care so much what clothes I wear and as such there are other priorities that come first, like the kids ........ and PS3 games :D
 
Every few months i relegate a few items to the car maintenance/diy pile if they are appropriate. Items that aren't appropriate for that go to charity. Items that were in that pile at the time of relegation go to the bin.
 
I tend to keep clothes in the wardrobe for a pretty long time. I still have almost everything I've bought since I was about 19 or 20 years old, and can't see myself throwing out many items until they are literally falling apart.
 
I keep them for years and once in a while get a reminder to go through them but that gets ignored. They usually get thrown out when there is no space left for new ones.
 
I have T-Shirts that i've had for ten years that I can wear at home, whilst doing jobs and take on holiday for going to the beach etc I wouldnt throw them away unless they were tatty, they still fit although a little faded, then I have other clothes that i've worn once or twice and disposed of because I decided I didnt like them anymore
