Hope Stroll is okay, and makes a swift recovery.

Driver entries cannot be changed after quali..
I know, but still a waste.

Wouldn't be surprised if Stroll went through with qualifying just to block the spot as Drugovich would undoubtably make him look worse (if that's even possible). Given where Alonso qualified, it's likely his hand has been giving him issues for a while.

I think this is a rather ridiculous conspiracy theory. It's more likely that the problem has been getting progressively worse over the last six weeks but he hoped to be able to race today and get the surgery during the gap before the next race until it got dramatically worse during qualifying.

Six weeks ago was about when Stroll's strong start to the season evaporated into his usual standards. Hmm.

It's not a conspiracy and not exclusive to Stroll - almost any driver would rather race than risk being shown up/have their seat at risk. Many drivers return to racing a week or 2 after surgery, which always seems ridiculous.

Stroll obviously doesn't have the seat issue; everyone knows there are better options, but no driver is going to willingly yield their seat.

Yes, drivers are ridiculously keen to return to their seats after surgery or illness, and to continue racing when unfit. It's the idea that Stroll deliberately waited until after Quali to block a replacement I find ridiculous. But we're not going to agree so little point continuing this digression.

I’d say Lewis, Max, Nico, Oscar, Alonso and Vettel, while different, all have that hunger/aggression that you need to compete.

I wouldn’t put Lando in that bucket, at least not as a natural trait of his, but he is slowly learning.
Going back a generation or two, you have Piquet, Senna, Prost and Schumacher that could be ruthless when necessary.

All the great drivers that won multiple WDCs had/have that edge to their personalities.

Lindblad wins the feature race F2, lifting him to 3rd in the standings. If he isn't in a Racing Bulls seat for Zandvoort, I'll eat my hat.

Random question, does anyone know where the tv teams watch the race from? Likes of Simon Lazenby can’t rely on the good will of a team for every race can’t they?

Yuki Tsunoda will start from the pit lane after making changes to the rear wing in a desperate attempt to not suck fetid donkey balls. Meanwhile, the Stroll plot thickens with the BBC reporting that he lost his temper in the garage after his Q2 exit. Is the medical thing cover? Did he punch the wall and hurt his already injured wrist? Is someone telling porkies? Post your favourite wild speculation now!

Yeah, as @Mad_Jay says, they're usually housed in the media centres.

Hope this isn't the snoozefest it usually is, might be marginally better than Monaco anyway :p
Think you're gonna be disappointed!

Never been a favourite track of mine this but tbh we've had 2 stinkers already in Imola and Monaco so might as well finish the back to back to back hat trick.
