Official 24h2 just gone live

Well I've just updated my gaming pc but I have already found a bug.

Task manager keeps crashing when I click about the tabs.

Updated my office pc and that is fine. So only the pc in my sig exhibits the issue with task manager crashing.

Windows updates says my system is fully up to date anyway (23H2) so will leave it this way until they sort the issues out.

I bet loads of people running AMD processors updated for the performance increase

Only improved specific ryzens, or all? I have laptop AMD Ryzen 7

So that's why mine is stuck on 23H2!

Maybe worth having a read of this thread

Ryzen 7000 and 9000 see massive gains from Windows 11 24H2. Mostly.

I did read this post here about getting it to update to 24H2 but I got impatient waiting, turned it off and disabled it again. Glad I did after hearing its causing BSOD

For some reason I cant get the new 24h2 to do a fresh install. Its saying a driver is missing? Guessing it cant see the nvme for some reason but its visible in the bios.

Made the USB in rufus. I've tried different USB ports and another USB stick and get the same results.

B650 ASUS tuf wifi on the latest beta bios. 7800x3d

Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers :)

Same, Always seems to be issues when they first are leased and then updates come further on.

My system says its fully up to date anyway on 23H2, it will appear on there at some point if its deemed to be supported lol

I checked Rufus issues on Github, many people has issues install 24H2 made by Rufus, I guess it not compatible with Rufus latest version yet.

Try create USB with MediaCreationTool. Many reported said it worked fine with 24H2 installed from USB used MediaCreationTool after tried Rufus method not worked.
