Not sure if I can link, surely can't be seen as a direct competitor so just google 'ColdZero' they do lots of custom stuff looks brilliant :)

If trixx won't do it try flashing the Asus OC Test bios, that has a soft limit of 1.4v.

I'm after some heatkiller full nickel/stainless blocks as they seem easier to get hold of then the uber-rare komodo blocks.

Going to need to order one of those aluminium clamps for my raystorm too, just noticed my plexi clamp is starting to fracture :(

Is it ok to run Afterburner alongside Trixx ?

lol I was just about to say you knocked yourself down the table :D

What I find interesting is the much talked about new drivers from AMD - 12.11 betas

Comparing a single HD 7970 platinum to my GTX 690 running on one core on the same PC, its a bit of a no contest the HD 7970 wins easy.

If I then compared 2 HD 7970 platinums running in xfire to my GTX 690 running both cores on the same PC the result is a lot tighter and the HD 7970s only just win. And if the result was dependent on visual quality the GTX 690 would win hands down (when overclocking the 690 I never see artifacts).

The point I am making is AMD seem to be taking a lot of deserved credit for single GPU performance with latest drivers but are they still dragging their feet with xfire performance.

The great thing about writing the above is no one can say im a nvidia fanboy as I own 6 AMD GPUs.:D:p:D

Just been giving one of my HD 7970s a go

Sorry Rossi but you told me to go for it.

Could someone with one of these cards tell me what settings they use in GPU tweak to overclock.

Im having fun but im a bit clueless as to what im doing

The artifacts light show is great though.:D

**** You Kaapstad.

Lol

Just tried to start my new w/c build, I did not get very far. I have posted the details on my thread in the w/c section.

I am not very happy with some of the parcels I have got through the post lately.

Still im in the top ten of the single GPU chart.

Sorry Rossi

:D

I hear that Kaap and I was gutted with FarCry3 performance and was kicking myself for not swapping over to the red side but after reading google, I see lots of others from Green and Red are having the stutter issue, which makes me question the game itself.

I don't think this is going very well

No one has replied to my thread in the customer services section and no one is answering the phone at ocuk.

I think I will try again tomorrow.

sunday tbf. it'll get sorted tomorrow. I had a very strange delivery for my w/cing order too and it's being sorted.

lol @ the Keyring :D

Get it done bud and a couple more entries and I will add them up. Will be good to see and has opened my eyes for a HTPC build I am wanting to do (If I don't get the one NickolP linked me). The trinity looks the job for a media comp.

Couldn't be bothered to bench the 480. I'm too lazy, when i get a test bench set up i'll be more inclined to actually bench more often.

Instead, i decided to do a little video :D
