Hey Gregster managed to do it on latest bios in the end :) I wont spam you with anymore 3dmark results at least until I get some unlocked bios to raise my tdp.

Only takes a few seconds to update (so long as I keep on top of it). Add as many times as you like :)
 
What a pigging nightmare that was. Found out that 3dm11 absolutely hates my Xeon and I was getting unrecognised proccessor errors. FFS. Any way finally forced it to run but got a terrible physics score. Odd because in all of the gaming benchmarks I have performed I get better FPS with the Xeon than I got with a 950 oc to 4ghz. I guess 3dmark 11 is just too mainstream.

Any way, here is a 4ghz 950 with my 7970 @ 1200mhz.

And a Xeon E3 1220 (CPUZ hates it too, I3 2100 PFFT, ******s) with a 670 Jetstream running a 1085mhz boost clock.

And still the 7970 came nowhere near on graphics score...

It seems to have a slightly better IMC over 2500mhz by just winding the bclk up to 104.2, it is slightly worse for ocing compared to my 3960x. The all round performance is no better than a 3930k.

I have also got a brand new 3930k, it will be interesting to see how that goes in the same system.

My latest 3930K is amazing. DDR2600. 5.675 3D stable and 5.62 CPU test stable in Vantage and 3D 11.

I can't get my samsung green anywhere near these numbers but it has given me a greater understanding of what to aim for :)

The best mine would do at 2133mhz with 1.66v is 11,11,11 but using your numbers as a baseline of what to aim for I have managed to tighten up a lot of my other numbers and improve my scores. :)

How are you getting on with the 3930k, do you find it a bit different.
