Here's a new BIOS compilation, this one with an updated JMicron JMB363 storage controller option ROM. Sorry for taking so long to update it.

Download the BIOS compilation

I highly suggest you do not use any BIOS older than 14, but I've included them if you absolutely need to run an older version for whatever reason. Flash at your own risk. I've personally tested 18ZZZ only. There's very little chance of failure for other versions, however. Worst thing that'll happen is some option ROM throws an error, in which case you flash back to a stock BIOS and post here so I can figure out why and possibly correct it (or put in an older working version of that option ROM instead).

If you do not require the PXE ROM to display its "press Shift+F10 to configure..." message twice after the Intel AHCI OROM's initialization message during boot up, go to the CMOS setup screen, then Integrated Peripherals, then Onboard PCI Device, and set - Invoke Boot Agent to Disabled for both Network Controller 1 and Network Controller 2.

If for some reason you require a beta BIOS version available from the lejabeach website updated, please send me a PM.

Drivers:

Utilities:
abit IP35 Pro motherboard & µGuru manual

I see overclockers recieved stock of Abit's other IP-35 boards, anyone from OcUK able to jump on thread and let me know when you expect Pro version in stock? Only ask as im holding out for this board. ;)
I actually spoke to Gibbo in regards to the Abit IP-35 Pro a few weeks ago & he informed me it would either be this week or next week. :)

Updated the original thread with latest drivers, ram compatability etc etc.

Pro Manual on some dude's webserver if it's useful guys.

My pro is sitting in the local citylink depot for a monday delivery and they won't release (today - sat) it unfortunatley :(
Cool I've added that to the original thread, was going to upload the manual but this saves me doing it. :)

Their have been updates to the drivers, I have only just updated them on this thread - see the dates next to the corresponding driver for when I updated them.

On another note, I have listed below a link to the a Revised Edition of the Manual i.e Revision 1, I'm not sure what has changed but it has also been added to the IP35-PRO section on the ABIT Website.

English Version (Revison 2) April 2007

The above link is now also on first thread which I posted.

Just recieved my E6850 Batch# L719B027  will finally get round to building my new rig!

Just for info, added the new official bios to the original page as seen below:-

BIOS ID:11

1. Support CL=3.
2. Enhanced compatibility with certain memories.
3. Support Command Rate adjusting function.
4. Update Jmicron BIOS to V1.06.69.
5. BIOS compiled date: 07/13/2007

:)

Is the OP going to make a review? or anyone else in the forum?
Honest answer. . . . I'm just awaiting on my 4 x 1GB of Crucial 8500C5 as they are out of stock where I ordered them from I recieved 2GB today, hopefully I will recieve them by friday - not bad considering they are £90 less than the ridiculous price this place sells them for & £70 less than the this weeks special deal. It wont be a full in-depth review or anything I'm not a Computer Engineer lol, but I will post my clocks etc.

And why is one of the reviews Chinese? lol
Because it's from a Chinese website, using google translator lol :)

How childish! all I was stating was I put it on the original thread lol  I wasn't trying to steal your claim to fame or anything - I didn't realise it was that important to or you was in some sort of exclusive childish race sorry. . . . lol

It doesn't suprise me you found them cheaper. Any posts which even hint they arnt the cheapest get deleated though. Even though they go round parading they are cheaper then competitors.
Hehe, that just makes things worse for the retailer, rather than taking into consideration a positive criticism they merely ignore it & treat you like a piece of excrement which in turn makes the customers angry which in turn means bad consequences for business. . . . . . enough said. :)

The IP35-Pro is a good board, I've recommended it a few times to people due to it being a P35 board, with a great layout. The Asus P35 boards (I would list, but Asus being Asus - I would be here all day), DFI LP P35-T2R, IP35-Pro and Gigabyte boards seem to be very peg level, each with their strong points.

For instance Mr Key says the IP35-Pro has worst vdroop out of all he's tested P35 wise, but offers a good all round package especially with uGuru. Once my radiator brackets arrive for my water cooling, I'll post a thread about the DFI board and how I've found it. :)
I would have loved to have tried the DFI UT P35-T2R, like I mentioned on the errrr'm  "other" forum we use lol, it's not very cost effective for me going from P35 to P35 it wouldnt be very sensible either :), if both boards had been released at the same time, I would have probally gone for the DFI board & to be honest I'm quite surprised that the Abit board was given a better award, I think it was mainly down to price costs than overall performance comparisons - I guess the Abit board represents good value for money not sure really.

Just noticed your home town Nelly. How's Meggies lately, had any good fish and chips recently?
Hehe funnily enough I was there last friday night it's only 3 mile away tops. . was paraletic by end of the night, luckily I got chatting to a random blonde in the pizza takeaway & she took me for a ride home in her car kinda crazy really. . hope I see her again she was mega fit lol, Seaway is best chippy down there, been going to same shop over last 20 years. :)
At the moment it's running at default timings (5,5,5,18, 2.1v and 712Mhz).
Ahh your running at auto settings? no problem, was just curious really to see if it would run at spec on the motherboard.

trawling ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/

they appear to have started (or duplicated ) a new Utilities folder - the old 1 being in lower case.
Doh the muppets! lol they seem to make silly mistakes, I usually e-mail them about it if I can be bothered. :)

EDIT: I've just e-mailed the webmaster @ abit taiwan explaining the error, they should fix it within the next few days.

The Geil is still not in that list ;)
Well, untill someone e-mails me or posts on the various forums that the various sticks boot up at 1.8v they will never get added even though its probally obvious that they do lol, it is possible I've missed a post or two - it's sometimes hard to keep up with 4 or 5 threads etc. :)

Which sticks do you have may I ask. . . ? :)

Hey Nelly... thnx for the resonse.
Got these... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-086-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813 They will not overclock one bit.
It seems the CPU:Mem ratios on this board will not allow for say a 450FSB with a DDR800 mem.... :(
You would be lucky to get 401FSB with those sticks let alone anything higher. The mininum you can run your ram on any Intel motherboard is 1:1 or overclock the ram I'm afraid which you cant.

I would just stick to 9 x 400 (3.6Ghz) it's a very good clock. :)

iam only using 1 stick since the other 1 died
ah now it wont boot must be dead no more micron memory for me
thats 3 sets in last few months

anybody recommend me memory thats not using micron IC's?
