No you should buy the Ltd edition from GAME UK for £25 and wait a bit, not only is it a tenner cheaper but seem people are having terrible problems with steam

Also the Ltd edition doesn't cost extra its just available to the first wave of buyers it should disappear soonish

I jumped back on an hour ago had 5 really good games, punkbuster kicked me out 3 times tho!!! Didnt happen yesterday
 
Is anyone having trouble with the ammount of bloom on some maps? Its way too bright, I can't see a thing at times - single player driving through mountains was fairly difficult to do, given that I didn't know whether I was on the road of off it.

As for the disconnection issues, not having that bigger deal with it, was playing most of the day Wednesday, and was playing for a fair few hours today. Remember that its only been released this week, MW2 still has lots of bugs in it, and thats been released for a good few months.

Give the guys at DICE and EA some time to sort it out. BF2 took a few patches to be good for me. Have faith.

ABSOLUTELY CRACKING GAME, AND VERY GOOD LOOKING EVEN ON MY 8800GTX :)

"for every problem there is an answer" thats how i play BF games, get stuck in and just adapt if you keep getting raped to death one way or another.

Was enjoying the TFU server tonight had some good games, nice one :)
 
How do u make steam recognise u r playing BF BC2? I added a shortcut from my retail install and it comes up with "playing non steam game", whereas I notice SixTwoSix is actually tagged as in BF BC2.


Also how do u use the veteran unlock? The M1 garand, doesn't show as an option in game.
 
I just had a good few hours on TFU/OCUK, came top a few times and levelled up :D
The hardcore server + knowledgeable players make it awesome to play on, more team play than anywhere else public.

I would like to say thanks to everybody on there and of course to TFU for putting it up :D

If i order it from Game i have to wait 2-3 days.

If i order it from Steam i pay an extra £10.

If i go into town to buy it i spend about a tenner on fuel anyway.

argh...
 
Just had another 2 hours of fun. Still haven't played anything apart from Rush mode- there is just something about the gritty defences that occur, and the daring attacks I just can't resist.

Finally got the Defibs for the medic, which makes that role a whole lot more useful. Also, recon with the Sekia shotgun- beautiful stuff!

lol... then really your answering your own problem there... steam is the way.

a) your paying 35 anyways according to your own maths.
b) no discs
c) you get it now (or however fast your internet is)

go get it now!!!!!!
 
Got the most awesome shot earlier.

Was on that big map thats ace for sniping, sniping across the map sideways, managed to kill two TFU / OCUK members at the same time (the same bullet) they were running forwards and it was both headshots.

Got it dialed in quite well now so was just a quick pot luck dragshot.

Anyway the game gave me a new rifle, and some kind of gold coin, and about 600 points all at the same time after that shot. Pretty chuffed now.

GOL is my next unlock, if it was anything like the GOL in BC1, I can only get better :D

The fact is that you weren't ready for your release deadline EA. Your game is full of bugs, and paying customers can't enjoy the product.

You might need to sort your PC out, as I have had 0 PB crashes, 0 disconnects, the only time it didnt work was when EA's plasma server thing went down.

NO CTD's either :)
 
How do I join the OcUK server. I tried searching for OcUK and put the IP in the search ;P, just can't seem to find it =[

Edit: My bad got it, was stupidly searching on my favourites ;P

the problem is Game vs Steam!

if i order from game online it will save me £10 but i must wait say around 3 days for delivery!

i am about to go to bed so will probably buy it and leave it downloading over night... but i spend so much on games it makes me want to cry :(
