Finally got on to this last night after a couple of days at a conference, first impressions are OMG GRAFIX and OMG SOUND. The sound especially. They did a darn good job with the sound.
 
I built my new gaming pc yesterday after having a mac for a while. Installed this game and haven't been able to play it at all. I can actually get in to the game this morning but am getting kicked for punkbuster errors (I have tried downloading the files from the evenbalance site but it is still doing it!!!!)

I've been having this problem since buying the game from EAStore on Friday. The original serial number was apparently "already in use". I waited for over an hour to get a guy on EA's live chat, he gave me a new serial and told me to uninstall and restart (which obviously means i loose my connection to him) and reinstall and use the new serial no. He said don't worry it will be fine now.

Shock horror i do as he said and i got the exact same message with the new serial. I've been through their forums etc and i am not the only to have this problem. So i, along with a lot of other people have bought a game and can't even get the serial number to work!!!!

Shame on EA!!!!
 
Not had a problem connecting to servers or with punkbuster - it's been a smooth ride so far :)
Do we have a My Soldier Stats page :confused: Can't find anything on the EA website.

Turns out it's a superb game - got to bed at 3am eventually :D
 
Game is good, but it's shocking the number of bugs and general problems there are with this game. EA/DICE have learnt nothing from past BF games and the beta seems to have been a complete and utter waste of time.

I haven't had the issue since, that was just a weird, new, wonderful bug for associated with the master server having a spastic attack last night!
 
I have a couple of questions if anyone can help pme please.


On map is at night anf i assume you have nigh vision glasses or something as i can't see nothing nor find anything to say about using them?


Also as a sniper when you lay C4 how to you detonate it?

cant get enough of it at moment awesome game . once the teething problems are gone this will be even better

our server for any that wanna play . busy all day

 
I can't seem to connect to servers this morning, I press the ">" button to connect and it gives the standard "Waiting for data" then just does nothing.
 
Getting the disconnect after about 15mins in each game problem that i had in beta now :( was fine before they took down and put the login back up.

Pretty sure there is no night vision, with the exception of the 'Special Forces' Expansion Pack for BF2, don't think there ever usually is.

Re. C4. LMB to lay, RMB to detonate.
 
Yes the server problems have been annoying, but apart from that this game is AWESOME!!!

Haven't enjoyed a game like this for a long time. Last night me & 3 others on vent in a squad haveing a great laugh. Sounds & graphics all absolutely top notch.
 
I am also getting kicked after being in a server for more than five seconds.

PB init and no packet flow.

I have the latest PB updates so must be a problem server side maybe?
