Yes, I do shoot people at long range. When they're capturing a flag, when they're stalking one of my team and when they're stupidly standing in the open doing nothing. That's my job. I snipe and I love it, I constantly keep on the move with my pistol out ready. I bought the game so I'll play it anyway I choose and atm it's all about me and my Barret M95 and the enemies head going 'ping' !!

People moan about Nubetoobers, moan about not getting ammo crates, moan about not being healed blah blah blah !! I've stopped many many enemies diffusing the objectives in Rush mode by introducing my M95 bullets to their heads so dont tell me the class doesnt help :p oh and MOOOAAAARTAR¬ INCOMMING¬!!!

Hardcore servers still do nothing for me, not sure what it is but the gameplay just doesn't feel anygood, I think CoD hardcore is fine but hey each to their own !
 
I think I am going to have to give up on this crap. Why is it so difficult to not be kicked out of a game by punk buster. I have updated my pb manually, I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything and still I can't get a game.

All that happens is that I search for all servers, 95% of the ones that have a good ping are full (It's a bit odd but I can't see any uk based servers in the list with less than 100 ping, I thought they would be there.) The ones that aren't full are the ones I join and then get kicked out. Most of my experience of this game is watching the server browser update and I'm getting very tired of it.

Surely there must be a way for me to play this game for more than 1 minute at a time!!!!!
 
How can i add a custom server ip via xfire, bfbc2 is showing up in my added games list, however every time i start xfire it asks for "xfire requires UAC elevation" youll need to provide administrator permission for the following game(s) Battlefield:bad company 2.

PB is annoying the **** out of me... And the website they tell you to manually update it on, is also a pile of ****... Sorry... I'm rageing...
 
Ok. I'm probably being really thick here but how do I add that server using the ip?
Is it just me or is this the slowest server browser of all time?

AS I have said before I play mainly as Sniper/Assault (depending on map and my mood). Wish I had some of them better guns. :)

But I agree with the above.
 
Punkbuster randomly decided not to let me connect to anything.. same with u guys?

Anyone elese got the feeling of "wtf am i meant to do now? try and update punkbuster?! if so how? or just wait untill it all fixes..?!"

After using Recon with the Sekia and M1911, I've just got the hang of using sniper rifles, and I've unlocked the mortar...happy days!

I've been cleaning up with that class since then :p

Well, I haven't had 1 milisecond of a go at the multiplayer since trying on Friday.

The usual cant connect to server, unable to find 'ea servers' and ctd when trying to join a server.

Strangely enough when installing the game, PB didn't install correctly for some reason, so had to install it manually and I was thinking perhaps it was something to do with PB.

But obviously it's nothing to do with us, the problem is on EA's side. Strange how some people aren't having trouble though.

But obviously for some this has been an epic fail.

Hmm, maybe its not just me then, been playing great other than the issues with the servers, now all of a sudden i get game freeze and "display driver has stopped responding" after anywhere betweem 30 secs and 15 mins of game play?
 
Gah can't beleive I bought this -.-

Still can't connect to games, first I couldn't login now as of last night and today I press join on a server and it does nothing.... I got one game in yesterday of like 30 mins on a server I joined through "play now" where it put me in a sever where i had 500ping..

I had this issue with Far Cry 2. Dropping the AA & ultra settings helped...a bit.

No probs with this game so far except that it's a bit pants...in an AvP kind of way. Still, we'll give it some more time :)
