I load up the game now and the menu constantly scrolls up and down on the screen, very odd

I only run punkbuster A I have punkbuster B disabled and it works fine here.
I don't get any of the problems everyone else is seeming to.

Is there any way to manualy enter ip addresses?

Ive tried via xfire, but when i go to enter the ip address bfbc2 isnt available on the menu where ip's are entered. It is however listed in my games list in xfire.

Well I haven't been able to stay on any server for more than 10-15secs before being Punk'd !! even the new Multiplay server recently added

I had that on the first server i joined and its not done it since. I just tried reinstalling PB i think, don't recall now, but i do remember i quit MW just because PB started ****ing me off. It'd never update itself so i had to reinstall it everytime they did an update which i got sick of eventually.

What does the 'Spot' upgrade for the Recon actually do...? At first i thought it automatically spotted targets you were looking at but it doesn't, so what the hell is it supposed to do?

My issues with this game appear to be resolved - although I do get booted out of games occassionally. This game is frikkin' excellent - especially with headphones on!

Does anybody know what the difference is between Dog Tags and Unique Dog Tags? I never played Battlefield 2142 or the original Bad Company so this is my first experience with dog tags and Google has failed me. I'm guessing the unique tags are just tags that nobody else has managed to get yet?

May not be linked to your problem but my screen will rotate if I have my joystick (USB) plugged in.

Dog Tags = total number of knife kills. Unique Dog Tags = number of different players killed.

No idea haven't measured it I run everything in ccc set to highest quality AA +AF set to application controlled
Vsync enabled in CCC + triple buffering, what to measure frames with ? fraps only thing that works ?

So what's the point of it counting "unique tags" when it tells you how many times you've killed each player anyway? It gives you a list of names with the number to the right of that so unique tag counting is pointless.

Because i thought it was obvious? Knifing the same player 300 times is hardly an achievement, the player is either terrible, you've played for a long, long time or you're stat padding. Getting 300 unique kills, ie, 300 different people, is more of an achievement. Wasn't intending to be offensive, i just thought it was obvious ><

Hmm, maybe its not just me then, been playing great other than the issues with the servers, now all of a sudden i get game freeze and "display driver has stopped responding" after anywhere betweem 30 secs and 15 mins of game play?

Thing is, I can play for hours without a hitch then for no reason what so ever...CTD/Freeze.

It's defiantly a game issue and two of my friends who were in the same area also froze.

So I still don't see the problem? Say you knifed Joe 300 times and Dave 1 time, why does there need to be a unique category when it already has the stats like :

Dave 1

It's an unneeded category and just because you find it obvious doesn't mean that I should automatically find it obvious. Get some manners please, I worded my question politely and for what you typed and the manner in which it came across you may as well have called me a retard.

I've not had a single problem with the game crashing as of yet. Which is a change because the 'stable' beta crashed all the damn time and sometimes made me run in Vista compatability mode

Then again i am running at low settings for the framerate
