I would agree that medics do need looked at however they do play a vital role as the revives don't count towards ticket loss. The defrib does have a cool down time but its really only a couple of seconds. Should really be about 5 seconds or so between revives.

I would also argue that medics should be restricted to one per team, it gets ridiculous when teams of medics come piling into the fray. Bang dead, oh **** he's up again, bang dead oh **** screeeeeeeeeeeeaaammm!!1

Its like shooting zombies on viagra, they always get back up.

after loving bf1942 and battlefield 2, im having a very hard time getting into this.

the ranking system, just sucks balls and gives people completely unfair advantage. Im a very casual player (not especially skilled but not bad) and im still making my way to rank 1 after getting on the game today, now on a few servers i cant seem to do jack **** because im up against rank 18 no lifers who have probably been playing the game without sleep for 4 days :mad:

For example, i was shooting the crap out of someone from almost point blank range, empty almost a clip into him and without him dying, he turns around and one shots me :(

On BF2 i was a god of sniping too, yet even scoped and aiming for their throats (taking the sniping wind effect into account so aim a bit lower for head shots), and they dont die. :mad:

Must be an L2P issue surely, or this ranking system makes it a no goer for casual players like me. Im on the verge of sending it back and going back to BF2.....some tips pls.
 
Damn login servers, was about to win the round on the TFU OCUK server.

What I think should be done to the medics is make the revives start in a non-charged state. Rather than them being charged 24/7, they should start charging when you switch to them and pull out the paddles, that way you cant fire at an enemy, switch to paddles/revive and switch back to gun and start firing all in less than a second.

Also I think the server needs auto teams, or a setting to stop a team getting more than 16 players. It's 32 player ffs, so no team should ever have >16 players as that garuntees unfair teams.

same here exactly, average player ex 2142, used to mix with the best, getting owned completely now

taken to sniping now just trying to get a few kills up as i get wasted in close quater combat, its beyond a joke ffs

still dont know the maps tho, i'm gonna stick at it, need some perks desperately.

people advertise as hardcore, you join, and its not hardcore, so it takes around 10minutes to find one due to the server browser being so poor, and not being able to turn vehicles off is a bad move.

And ontop of that, im getting bored of seeing "Failed to log in soldier" "Failed to connect to EA"
 
Connection to EA failed again. Wish I'd left it a week or so but I didn't want to come into the game a complete noob. Endless PB problems. Only had 5 full matches in 3 days without something falling over. Unlucky I guess :mad:

Side note how do I add a server to my favorites?
 
Does no one play squad death match ?

By far the best games i have had, No M-coms or flags, Just shoot to kill.

Does anyone have a ping showing under 100 ?

Mine is always over 100, Even UK servers where my ping is normally 30 ~ 40ms.

Is it just a bug or what ?
 
Same here (white flash then kicked to the menu and then connection failed everytime you try to rejoin multiplayer, cannot login please retry rubbish) but playing with mates on the Xbox 360 (I have it on PC too - obviously better on PC :D but have some mates with the 360 version), so its effecting all platforms and not just the PC.

Absolute pain in the a.. as we were winning.

Mine totally works but according to the servers tag, both the OCUK, TFU, and LEETGAMERS servers no longer exist ?
 
Played a few rounds today, no problems with ctd's or punkbuster. Though the sniping is rife, ive tried sniping a few times but prefer to use assault, love the grenade launcher. Gotta stick with it to upgrade to a few better guns.
 
How can EA fail so epicly with their login servers at launch?! and every battlefield game has had horribly slow and clunky server browsers. Once again EA being the worst part of a good game :/
