its 9pm for 1 hour, packs are the same price, 2 times the chance of getting an IF.

basically lets say normally IF's are 1 in a million, it will be a 1 in 500,000 chance now. nobody knows the real chances apart from EA.

Ah I didn't realise that, I only did it once I thought it'd be the same every week. So some weeks you don't get a price drop but the packs are more likely to get you a better card?

yeah it changes every week, sometimes its only a happy half hour, the guys on the podcast said this week, that some weeks there may not even be a happy hour.

the reason why its only 2 times better chance and in previous cases has been 3 times better chance is because IF rooney is in there, he is worth millions. if he hadnt been in the team then i reckon it would have been a 3 times better chance as per last time they did it.

Ah right. With that Rooney card coming out I think it might be worth buying some MS points later but I need to set a limit as the other day I went a bit crazy.

i seriously doubt there is any point spending real money on packs, i have managed to build up 2 decent teams without spending a penny on packs, i am currently looking at ways to improve my EPL team (defense sucks in EPL) and i may move to spanish league.

i have probably spent around 100,000 coins on packs, the only player i got worth keeping was 86 etoo worth 50K, thats a 50K net loss.

if your going to spend money, i would buy coins or players from ebay, at least you know what your getting.

put it this way the money you have spent on packs, how about spending them on euromillions tickets instead, probably a lot better for you.

easiest way to make hundreds of thousands of coins fast, everybody else does it, why cant we?

its a part of the game and always will be.

the only way to remove it is to only be able to put players up with a starting price of 150

Although granted, thats a high percentage of its userbase

I'm with Tim. Fortunately, I'm not in the market for IF players of the value you're talking about (before the price fixing!), but you're making the situation bad for people like Tim.

I'm not fussed about making it bad for me, if I can afford them, I go for them, its just the general principal, people take a GAME way too far sometimes..

I'll probably only be spending £8 it's not the end of the world.

I can see what you're saying though, but personally I prefer to buy MS points now and again, and it is now and again it's not as if I buy them every other day, I just buy them when I can afford them. Put it this way, if I was to go to the pub tonight I'd spend way more than £8

Asda and shops like that usually give you as low a price they can. They don't go to Heinz and buy all of their beans for a low price and then stick them up at £100 a tin.

This is why I think Kill is awesome

To be honest Sonny, you can do whatever the **** you like on PS3.
If you tried that crap on the Xbox, I expect a lot of the users here would ignore/shun you.

Obviously, you need the coins to get the best players to supplement your AMAZING skills, but maybe the rest of us are happy as we are.
