I just pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition on origin

Think it's the most I've spent on a game for 2 or 3 years so hopefully it will be worth it :D
Will prob pre-load overnight

Going to try the VPN method in a bit, if I have the same problems as theaterix, I'll just buy from CDKeys.

Next step is to get my PS3 controller working on the PC.

Pre-loading now.
 
Finally managed to play this today loving it so far as you cNt just sprint past players you have to work the ball about so it will hopefully suit 4312 better. Going to buy it tomorrow using the VPN trick i think
 
What am I supposed to do here on the FUT web app? There's no PC option!

It does feel more technical than PES, which feels much faster and who's players turn on a dime. I wish FIFA had PES's manual ball passing though to kick the ball exactly where you want.
 
Does anyone know if the packs you get are tradable? (I'm guessing they won't be)

Only really ordered as it seems like people can't just run off & score with no skill, just hope the full game is as good as the demo.

I've started playing the demo, I've gone off the deep and turned all the settings onto manual (except goalkeeping)... My passing is NOT great but I'm hoping that I'll get there eventually.

Is this not what you mean?

Il have a look at the settings, I'm not too familiar with modern FIFA myself - but in PES you can hold down a "manual" key (Ltrigger) and aim your pass/long ball to where ever rather than have it go directly to a player.
 
Just to let others know who may be experiencing problems with trying to get fifa 16 to run above 60hz:

I bought a gtx 970 over the weekend and installed it with the latest drivers and both fifa 15 and 16 run at 120hz now. So this may well be an AMD driver issue after all.

I am so happy that I can run this properly now. It looks glorious in 120hz.:cool:
 
Not sure I can bring myself to buy it this year. It just makes me horrendously angry when I play it! Will at least wait to hear the verdict on FUT and whether it's still the same horribly frustrating race to buy the fastest players.
